Texas Sheet Cake

 

2 C Sugar
2 C Flour
1 C butter
1/2 C buttermilk
1 C water
4 T cocoa
2 eggs
1 t soda
1 t vanilla
1/2 t cinnamon

Put sugar and flour in one bowl. In another bowl, mix butter and cocoa, then add water. Add to sugar and flour mixture. Add eggs, soda, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix well and pour into a 12x18-inch jelly roll pan. Bake @ 350 for 20 mins.

Frosting:
1/2 C butter
4 T cocoa
6 T buttermilk
1 box powdered sugar
1 t vanilla
1 C chopped nuts

Mix and boil first 3 ingredients. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread on warm cake and top with chopped nuts.
